Eligibility Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a Registered Nurse Program
- Must be a mother
- Must reside in the Metro Detroit area

- If chosen, you will be contacted using the details you provided in your application.
- Winners are required to reply to the notification within 2 calendar days.
*Failure to respond within the specified time frame will result in another nominee being selected.
Patrice L. Wilson Scholarship
In loving memory of Patrice L. Wilson, a dedicated nurse and compassionate mother, a scholarship has been established to support aspiring nurses who are also mothers. The Patrice L. Wilson Scholarship will be awarded annually on Mother’s Day weekend, a poignant reminder of Patrice’s life and the profound impact she made on her family and community.
Patrice, who tragically passed away on May 13, 2023, after completing her nursing shift, was a beacon of strength and dedication. Her passion for caring for others inspired countless individuals. To honor her legacy, this scholarship will provide financial assistance to nursing students who exemplify Patrice’s unwavering commitment to both her family and her profession.
The Patrice L. Wilson Scholarship will recognize the extraordinary challenges and sacrifices made by mothers pursuing a career in nursing. By supporting these deserving individuals, we hope to continue Patrice’s mission of compassion and care.
